Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment.
- Produce metal products according to customer and company specifications.
- Read and interpret diagrams, sketches, and blueprints to determine operations, required materials, and timeframes for projects.
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
- Carry out welding tasks as required, including fabrication and repair work.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with industry advancements and best practices.
Requirements:
- Valid Certificate as a Welder.
- Proven experience in heavy-duty truck and trailer maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency in welding, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s abstract.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
