Job Overview
TTC Collision offers heavy duty Collision Services for Class 6 and 8 Trucks. Only those candidates will be accepted who have prior experience of working with trucks.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. You will perform structural and non-structural repairs, panel replacement, refinishing preparation, and detailed quality checks to ensure every vehicle meets manufacturer standards.
- Perform vehicle body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely
- Assess damage and determine the appropriate repair procedures
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, priming, and masking surfaces
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure repairs meet industry standards and customer expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on collision repair experience
- Strong understanding of vehicle body repair and structural alignment.
- Proficiency with welding equipment, frame machines, and body repair tools.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
