Reefer Technician (Transport Refrigeration)
JMD Repair Ltd. is hiring an experienced Reefer Technician to join our heavy-duty truck and trailer repair team.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and service Thermo King and Carrier refrigeration units.
- Perform preventive maintenance and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
- Repair compressors, controllers, sensors, wiring, fuel, and refrigeration components.
- Complete repair orders and maintain accurate service records.
- Provide shop, roadside, and on-site customer service when required.
Requirements
- Experience repairing transport refrigeration units (Thermo King and/or Carrier preferred).
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
