Patisserie Fleur is a French and Asian inspired pasty shop located in Markham that specializes in cakes, desserts and specialty drinks. We are searching for an experienced Cashier/Barista to join our team at our Downtown Markham location next to the Cineplex VIP movie theater.
The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, is passionate about the food and beverage industry and enjoys working with people. This position plays a key role in our energetic team of pastry and beverage enthusiasts who are driven to provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Provide courteous and prompt customer service
- Passionate about product quality and customer service
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks such as teas, iced drinks, specialty coffees like espressos, cappuccino, café latte including art latte technique
- Prepare toppings & syrup
- Cash handling
- Strictly follow health regulations, keep a clean and sanitized working environment (floor, working table, stock room, machinery)
- Be able to stand for 8 hours shift and can work variable hours including mornings, evenings, nights of weekdays, weekends and/or Statutory holidays
- Following the cleaning schedule for equipment
- Be able to work independently as well as team member, and contribute to a positive working environment
- A proficient skill to communicate effectively in English
- Fluency in Chinese is an asset
