Inspire young learners and help shape bright futures. Sturgeon Public Schools is currently seeking a Part-Time Temporary Junior High Teacher for a work assignment at Oak Hill School.

Working with students placed at Oak Hill Ranch through Alberta Child and Family Services, this role supports learners with diverse emotional, social, and academic needs in a highly individualized and supportive environment. As an Alberta Options teacher, you provide meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that help students discover their strengths, explore interests, and develop practical life and career skills. Through strong relationships, flexibility, and a commitment to student growth, you help create a safe and engaging learning environment where every student is encouraged to thrive and reach their full potential.
What You’ll Be Doing

Teach Options to grades 4-9

Provide engaging and differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs

Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance learning

Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues

Contribute to school initiatives and the broader school community
