eSupply Canada, a national Indigenous-owned supplier of business supplies and commercial furniture, is offering a rare opportunity for a true sales hunter to build a national commercial furniture book of business with a structural market advantage.
We are already positioned on federal and provincial public sector standing offers, providing immediate access to government and institutional procurement channels that many furniture sales professionals spend years trying to enter. This role is designed for a Commercial Furniture Sales Representative who knows how to prospect, navigate corporate and public procurement environments, and convert relationships into long-term accounts.
You will be selling commercial furniture solutions into corporate Canada and the public sector, including North America’s only Canadian-made, Indigenous-themed ergonomic office chair - The Waaban Chair. This flagship product creates a differentiated entry point into boardrooms, government offices, and institutional environments, giving buyers a credible way to align procurement decisions with reconciliation commitments while meeting performance, design, and price expectations.
This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who thrives on prospecting, relationship development, and winning new business. There is no existing territory to inherit. You will have the opportunity to build and scale a high-value portfolio of accounts supported by a national procurement platform and an expanding market opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new commercial furniture opportunities across corporate, public sector, and institutional markets
- Build and manage a national sales pipeline
- Lead client conversations from needs assessment through proposal, specification, and close
- Prepare furniture quotes, layouts, and solution proposals with manufacturer partners
- Identify and pursue public sector and institutional procurement opportunities
- Support RFP and tender submissions related to furniture projects
- Coordinate with suppliers, project teams, and logistics partners
- Maintain CRM activity, pipeline reporting, and sales forecasting
- Represent eSupply Canada in client meetings, presentations, and industry events
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial furniture sales, contract interiors, or workplace solutions
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and build a book of business
- Familiarity with public sector procurement or institutional sales environments
- Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills
- Ability to manage sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decisions
- Self-directed and comfortable working in a commission-based role
- Experience with RFP processes is an asset
- Experience with CAD is an asset
- Bilingualism is an asset
