We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a strong focus on food safety, proper food handling, and delivering excellent service to our guests. The Grill Cook will play a vital part in ensuring that all menu items meet our quality standards and are served promptly.
Duties
- Prepare and cook grilled foods according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Serve food efficiently to guests, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during service hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of meal preparation and food industry standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Kitchen experience with familiarity in grilling equipment and techniques is preferred
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and food service procedures
