Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Tech Mechanic (310S) to join our service team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair, with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately identify issues and solutions
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Assist with assembly and disassembly of vehicle components during repairs or upgrades
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures and addressing customer concerns effectively
Requirements
- Proven mechanic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling
- Experience with automotive repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting across various vehicle models
- Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes and use of diagnostic software is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Valid certification or licensing as an automotive technician (preferred but not mandatory)
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
