Position Overview
We’re seeking a Journeyperson Plumber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise and a dedication to safety and customer satisfaction. You’ll work on a variety of projects, from new builds to renovations, ensuring all plumbing systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
- Test and inspect plumbing systems for leaks, functionality, and code compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers, apprentices, and other trades to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices and junior team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyperson Plumber Certification (Red Seal preferred).
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Gas ticket or backflow certification considered an asset.
