The Short Version
We sell boats. Beautiful ones—Axopar, Princess, Riviera, Targa and more. We're a small team that punches above its weight, and we need someone to hold the fort while our Marketing & Ops lead is on maternity leave.
This role is part event producer, part marketing doer, part office GM, part systems nerd. If you like variety, thrive without a lot of hand-holding, and get a quiet thrill from making chaos look easy—keep reading.
What You'll Actually Do
Run events people talk about
You'll lead the planning and execution of two major boat shows, two signature Freedom Marine events—our annual Rendezvous and Axopar Adventure—and special events such as new boat handovers. That means logistics, vendor coordination, signage, sponsor deliverables, branded merchandise, schedules, registrations, and making sure everything comes together seamlessly (even when it doesn't feel like it behind the scenes).
Keep marketing moving
Own the marketing calendar and keep campaigns rolling across email, social media, website, digital advertising and print. You'll work closely with leadership to turn ideas into action, coordinate creative projects, manage deadlines, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks. You'll also collaborate closely with our in-house media team to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns, ensuring we hit performance targets and deliver strong ROI across channels.
Be our HubSpot champion
HubSpot sits at the centre of almost everything we do. You'll manage CRM data, marketing campaigns, forms, lists, workflows, reports and dashboards, support our sales team, troubleshoot issues, and help improve how we use the platform. You'll also train team members, document best practices, and continually look for ways to make the system smarter.
You're Probably a Good Fit If…
- You've coordinated events, managed marketing campaigns, owned CRM systems, or led digital transformation projects—ideally a mix of all of them.
- HubSpot doesn't intimidate you. Maybe you've used it extensively already, or maybe you're simply the kind of person who enjoys learning new software and figuring out how to make it work better.
- You love keeping projects organized and can comfortably juggle multiple deadlines without losing sight of the details.
- You naturally spot opportunities to improve processes instead of accepting "that's just how we've always done it."
- You're confident coordinating digital projects and communicating with designers, developers, software vendors, and internal teams.
- You communicate clearly, follow through on commitments, and don't need someone checking in every hour.
- You're comfortable owning your role independently while collaborating closely with sales, leadership, and external partners.
- You think spreadsheets, checklists, dashboards, workflows, and project plans are oddly satisfying.
- You find boats, the water, or the boating lifestyle at least mildly interesting. (Not required... but fair warning, it tends to grow on people.)
What We Offer
- A front-row seat to a premium yacht brand and a tight-knit, no-BS team.
- Autonomy. We'll tell you what success looks like; you figure out how to get there.
- A well-defined 9-12 month engagement with clear expectations.
- An opportunity to get your foot in the door with a leader in the industry.
