The Comfort Barrie is currently seeking a full-time Night Auditor. The Night Auditor will be responsible for providing guests with a positive first and last impression, and will provide consistent excellent customer service. Their mission is to exceed any expectations that our guests may have and provide professional guest service at all times.
Job Requirements:
- Provide the highest quality of service to the guests at all times.
- Promptly and effectively deal with guest challenges, concerns and requests.
- Efficiently check in and check out guests in a friendly and informative manner.
- Run nightly system audit, balance spreadsheets and reports
- Balance daily hotel transactions, post guest charges and collect payments
- Take reservations by phone, email, or in person in a professional manner.
- Prepare daily housekeeping schedule and room assignments
- Follow all cash handling procedures as required by management.
- Be knowledgeable of Choice Hotels Rewards program and promotions.
- Be able to move luggage or packages weighing up to 30lbs.
Qualifications:
- A secondary school diploma is required
- Knowledge of Choice Advantage property management system is an asset
- Excellent communication, organization and computer skills
- Previous hotel experience is an asset
- Previous experience in customer service is an asset
- Cash handling experience is an asset
- Administrative, problem solving and time management skills
- Working knowledge of the local area
- Ability to work well both independently with minimum direction, and as part of a team
- Professional attitude
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and overnight shift from 11pm until 7am

Pay: $18.00-$18.45 per hour
