Specific Skills: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, Set up and adjust production machineries/tools, Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces, Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments, Set up, operate and maintain a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
Measuring Tools: Micrometers, Callipers, Calibre, Verniers, Gauges
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Computer numerical control (CNC) machines, Surface grinders, Tapping machines, Milling machines, Drill presses, Engine lathes, Screw machines, Sawing machine, Conventional, Automatic lathes
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Attention to detail
