Job Summary:
The SEO & SMO Specialist is responsible for improving the company’s online visibility, organic search rankings, and digital discoverability across search engines and social platforms. This role will develop and execute strategies to increase qualified website traffic, improve keyword rankings, strengthen brand presence, and support sales growth by enhancing how customers discover the company online.
The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in SEO, search behavior analysis, content optimization, and social media discoverability, with a proactive mindset to identify new opportunities that improve search performance and competitive positioning in the retail electronics market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute SEO and SMO strategies to improve search rankings, online visibility, and organic traffic growth across digital channels.
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for improving rankings related to computers, electronics, gaming, networking, and technology products.
- Analyze customer search behaviors, trends, and search intent to recommend content and optimization strategies that support traffic growth and conversions.
- Monitor, track, and report SEO and SMO performance metrics including rankings, impressions, click-through rates, referral traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Identify opportunities to improve search engine performance through content optimization, internal linking, search visibility enhancements, and website improvements.
- Support social media optimization efforts to strengthen content discoverability, audience reach, engagement, and referral traffic from social platforms.
- Stay informed on search engine algorithm changes, SEO trends, social platform updates, and digital marketing best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
- Work closely with marketing, e-commerce, content, product management, and digital teams to ensure optimization strategies align with campaigns and business priorities.
- Continuously identify innovative opportunities and actionable recommendations to strengthen brand visibility, organic growth, and online competitiveness.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, organic growth, content optimization, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices including on-page SEO, technical SEO, keyword research, content optimization, and search ranking strategies.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO performance tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and generate actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, consumer electronics, or technology industries is preferred.
