You’ll keep the kitchen running smoothly by cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, utensils, and equipment. If you’re hardworking, organized, and ready to help build a great kitchen from day one, we’d love to have you on the team.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients
- Support the kitchen staff by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly during service hours
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage waste disposal efficiently and keep the work area free of clutter
- Restock supplies such as towels, soap, and cleaning agents as necessary
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling standards is advantageous
- Experience with food preparation or cooking can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
