We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our eye care team. The ideal candidate will have, excellent communication skills, and a strong interest in optical and medical services. Prior experience in medical offices or optical settings is preferred, but we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow within the field.
Duties
- Educate patients about optical products, lens options, and frame selections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of optical displays
- Support inventory management for optical supplies and eyewear products
- Provide exceptional patient care by addressing questions and ensuring comfort throughout visits
Skills
- Previous experience in a medical office environment or optical practice is preferred, but not required
- Proficient computer skills
- Experience with retail sales or sales techniques
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
