Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Red Seal Automotive Technician to join our reputable dealership team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and repair guides to accurately diagnose issues.
- Assist in assembly tasks during vehicle repairs or upgrades, ensuring all components are correctly installed.
- Engage in vehicle inspections to identify potential problems proactively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as required by various repair tasks.
- Experience working with automotive assembly processes is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
