Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take their orders, and serve food and beverages promptly with enthusiasm.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process orders and payments efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and make accurate change using basic math skills.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, food prep zones, and cashier stations in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks as needed to support kitchen operations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of the food industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for quick and accurate cashiering.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling, billing, and order calculations.
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that require guest services expertise.
