Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member the Sous Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, supervise staff, and ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety are maintained. Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food service.
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Lead food preparation efforts, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper storage of ingredients in accordance with safety regulations.
- Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and service standards.
- Monitor kitchen cleanliness and organization to uphold health regulations.
- Serve as a role model for team management and leadership within the kitchen environment.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant, fine dining or food service setting.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry operations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
- Prior restaurant management experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, menu development, and restaurant service workflows.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
