We are currently recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to work split shifts for a senior female employer to assist with personal care and all activities of daily living.
The employer is a caring people person who loves listening to music.
Location:
- Langley (Near Vanguard Secondary School)
Available Shifts
- Sunday, and Monday
- Split shift for local candidates only (Langley, Aldergrove, and Abbotsford)
- 9:00am - 12:00pm and 4:00pm - 7:00pm
- Local and non-local candidates 6-hour midday shifts
- 10:00am - 4:00pm
- Back-up/on-call availability other days especially weekends
- Ability to drive in bad weather (unless unsafe to do so)
- Ability to work stat holidays
Compensation:
Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Personal care such as, showering, and dressing
- CPAP care
- Meal Preparation and light housekeeping duties
- assistance with Medication
- Running errands when needed
Requirements:
- Caregiving experience is required
- Ability to work all required shifts required
- Must be fully vaccinated is required
- Class 5 or Class 7N driver's license and personal vehicle is required
- Willingness to travel in bad weather is an asset
- Ability to work Stat holidays is an asset
- Strong communication skills required
- Senior care experience required
- Non-smoker and Non-vaper required
- Homecare experience preferred
- Breathing equipment experience preferred
- Good written and verbal English required
