Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our pediatric clinic. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, family-centred assessment and therapy services to children with speech, language, communication, social-pragmatic, fluency, and related developmental needs.
Working from our welcoming and well-equipped clinic, you will collaborate closely with children, families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that strengthen communication skills, build confidence, and improve each child’s participation in everyday life.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient needs.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills in patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric cases.
- Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders and the therapeutic process.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with medical standards.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Registered with College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Familiarity with pediatric speech therapy practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while managing individual caseloads effectively.

Pay: $80.00-$100.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 – 10.0 per week
