Leila Daycare Center Inc.is looking for a CCA or Early Childhood Educator 2 to work with our School Age children. The eligible candidate must have previous experience working with School Age children in a daycare and have outstanding Behavior Management skills with this age group. Must have experience working with children who have additional support needs.
8 hours during School Breaks. More hours as a sub if available. Part time hours during the school year for right candidate.
Some of the job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Working on the floor with children aged 6-12 years old.
- Be able to run the School Age Program independantly.
- Provide programming for the children based on their interests and development.
- Follow all licensing, best practice and health/safety policies.
- Communication effectively with parents and other staff.
- Able to support children with additional support needs.
- Love going outside in all weather.
Following are the requirements of the position:
- Early Childhood Education Level II or CCA
- Daycare experience of Minimum 2 year is required
- Experience working with School Age children is a MUST
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Friendly and approachable demeanour
- Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and work ethic at all times

Pay: $19.97-$30.00 per hour
