Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Dental Technician to join our dental laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality dental prosthetics and appliances, ensuring they meet precise specifications and patient needs. Duties
- Fabricate dental prostheses such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and veneers based on detailed prescriptions from dentists.
- Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to design dental restorations with precision.
- Prepare models and molds for casting or milling processes using laboratory equipment.
- Ensure all dental appliances meet quality standards and fit specifications through meticulous inspection and adjustments.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to interpret prescriptions and ensure accurate production of dental devices.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and production timelines.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing dental restorations.
- Previous experience in a dental laboratory or related laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of dental office procedures, medical terminology, and laboratory techniques.
- Knowledge of dental assisting practices is a plus for better coordination with clinical teams.
- Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and prescriptions accurately.
