Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Manage food handling responsibilities in accordance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment
- Assist with cashiering duties, including cash handling and balancing registers at the end of shifts
- Ensure timely service by managing time effectively during busy periods
- Support team members in all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure smooth daily functioning
Experience
- Previous experience in shawarma restaurant or the food industry is required
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving, cashiering, and food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment for guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting and multitask efficiently
- Experience in upselling menu items to increase sales is advantageous

Pay: $17.20-$17.60 per hour
