About the role
We design intelligent systems for demanding industrial environments. We're looking for a hands-on Hardware Integration Engineer to help conceive and evaluate our next-generation computation and sensor platforms, source and qualify components for R&D, and take ownership of lab and field testing. You'll work directly with our product leadership to turn hardware concepts into deployable, ruggedized systems.
What you'll do
- Evaluate and benchmark industrial edge computation platforms (NVIDIA Jetson platform, Automotive ECU) against our technical and commercial requirements
- Build and run a structured workflow for reviewing vendor specs, sourcing candidate hardware, and conducting preliminary compatibility R&D
- Bring up and validate peripherals and interfaces — Network, digital I/O, CAN bus, Ethernet, and related I/O
- Own component and subsystem testing, including RF transceivers, antennas, LiDAR, Radars, cameras, in simulated and real field conditions
- Document test procedures, results, and integration guidelines
- Support platform migration and next-gen hardware definition alongside the CPO
What we're looking for
- Solid embedded Linux fundamentals (bring-up, drivers, debugging)
- Embedded systems design experience
- Strong networking knowledge — Ethernet, CAN bus, and industrial interfaces
- Hardware integration experience with sensors, ideally LiDAR and cameras
- Comfort using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate scripting and tooling
- A background in robotics or automation is strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently, run your own tests, and communicate results clearly
Nice to have
- PCB design capability — schematic capture and board layout
- Strong analog and digital circuit design fundamentals
- Experience with vehicle-mounted or ruggedized hardware
- RF/antenna testing familiarity
- Cross-border component sourcing experience
