Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Traffic Tickets POA Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support the preparation and management of traffic ticket cases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the legal process. The role involves handling administrative tasks, conducting research, and assisting with legal drafting related to traffic citations and Point of Action (POA) proceedings.
Duties
- Review and proofread legal documents related to traffic tickets and POA cases to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Utilize Casemanagement software for case law updates
- Perform data entry and maintain detailed records of case progress and court filings
- Draft legal documents, correspondence, and filings with precision and clarity
- Organize and file case documents both electronically and physically in accordance with legal standards
- Order disclosures conduct CPT and pretrial discussions
- Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining organized workflows
- Exhibit professional phone etiquette when communicating with clients, courts, or other stakeholders
- Assist with project management tasks related to case deadlines and court appearances
Experience
- Proven clerical or administrative experience within a legal setting preferred
- Familiarity with legal research tools
- Strong proofreading, writing, and legal drafting skills required
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
- Experience with conducting Trials
- Experience in interviewing clients or witnesses is advantageous
- Knowledge of data entry procedures and filing systems in a legal environment is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills are essential

Pay: $51,000.00-$92,653.97 per year
