District Manager – Residential Property Portfolio (Quebec)

Are you a seasoned property management leader ready to take ownership of a dynamic residential portfolio in Quebec? Realstar is looking for a driven and experienced District Manager to lead our Montreal-based multi-residential properties and the teams behind them.
What You'll Do
Reporting to the VP of Operations, you'll be the driving force behind the performance and culture of a regional portfolio. Day-to-day, that means:
- Leading and supporting Property Managers, Resident Managers, and site staff to deliver exceptional resident experiences and hit operational targets
- Coaching and developing your team — identifying high-potential talent and setting them up for success
- Managing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and providing regular portfolio reports
- Overseeing capital improvement projects and coordinating with contractors and internal teams
- Driving occupancy through strategic marketing initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment, health & safety, and human rights legislation
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education in business, property management, or a related field
- 5+ years in a leadership role — property management, real estate, or hospitality background preferred
- Experience with multi-residential properties is a strong asset
- Proven track record managing teams, budgets, and competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Advanced bilingual proficiency in French and English (required)
