About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support residential and commercial properties in Iqaluit. This role focuses on plumbing repairs, building maintenance, and general troubleshooting, with work performed in a northern environment.
What You’ll Do
- Perform plumbing repairs (fixtures, leaks, drainage, water systems)
- Complete general building maintenance (basic electrical, doors, windows, HVAC support)
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Prepare units for new tenants (repairs, inspections)
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Support winterization and cold-weather building maintenance
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in plumbing and building maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on repair skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Comfortable working in outdoor and cold-weather conditions
- Trades certification (plumbing, HVAC, electrical) is an asset
