We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations in a commissary kitchen setting.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring a smooth workflow in the kitchen.
- Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff.
- Monitor dishwashing supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and support during peak hours.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required.
