Who are we looking for?
At ArcelorMittal Tubular Products, we are looking for someone to join us at the forefront of the steels industry. We are a world-class designer, manufacturer, and fabricator of high-quality steel tubing and tubular components/assemblies for automotive and non-automotive applications. As a Millwright, you'll be a part of our maintenance team - an integral part of our organization - and you'll be contributing to the overall function and success of our production operations.
Working at our Woodstock location, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Ensure participation in and adherence to ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Health and Safety systems and requirements
- Follow all applicable health & safety regulations outlined by OHSA & company policies
- Carry out the responsibilities of the preventative maintenance program, complete preventative maintenance follow-up work and add documentation to the work management system. Support project work and equipment down time events.
- Effectively communicate within the department as well as other departments.
- Carry out all mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic welding, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
- Install, align, disassemble, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as but not limited to: pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, and generators according to layout plans using company provided tools.
- Identify failed components and correctly find suitable replacement components.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
What you'll need:
- Grade 12 or GED
- Successful completion of Millwright apprenticeship (433A)
- Must have a Certificate of Qualification
- Must be available to work rotating shifts (2-week rotation: days - 8:00am-4:00pm; afternoons - 4:00pm-12:00am; midnights - 12:00am-8:00am); unionized facility
- Must have related experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must be self-motivated
- Moderate computer skills an asset
- Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems
- Working knowledge of ISO/IATF procedures
