Harbour Hills is a Hamilton-based ICI general contractor delivering commercial projects across the region. We're growing, and we're looking for a sharp, organized Project Coordinator to work alongside our Project Managers and Site Superintendents and help keep our projects on schedule, on budget, and running smoothly.
This is a hands-on role with a clear path forward. You'll learn the full project lifecycle from experienced PMs, take real ownership of scheduling and coordination, and build the foundation for a move into project management. What you'll do
Working under the guidance of our Project Managers, you'll keep projects coordinated and moving. Day to day, that means:
- Ordering materials and coordinating delivery to the job site
- Scheduling crews weekly (and updating daily as needed) and coordinating subcontractor scheduling on site
- Planning and preparing project schedules, and working closely with the Site Superintendent to monitor and track progress
- Scheduling recurring project update meetings with stakeholders and recording minutes
- Keeping project folders organized and documents up to date
- Overseeing subcontractor and material costs to keep projects on budget
- Responding to subcontractor RFIs and supporting the PM with cost estimating for new bids (RFQs)
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Communicating with clients — advising on scheduling, requesting information, and securing sign-off on contract changes and change orders
What you bring
- 2+ years as a Project Coordinator in Ontario ICI construction (or a closely related field), with commercial construction experience
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering, project management, business administration, or a related field
- Working knowledge of construction scopes, scheduling, project management, and contract software
- Advanced MS Office skills; experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar project management software preferred
- Strong organization, sharp attention to detail, and the flexibility to manage changing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
