At Fresh St. Market's Bakery Department, we tip a floppy baker's hat to some of the finest baked goods from near and far. With the help of our talented team of bakery experts who are dedicated to providing exceptional products and service, we are proud to offer an extensive selection of baked goods that includes freshly baked breads, sensational gourmet cakes, decadent cookies, and specialty items.
Reporting to the Bakery Leader, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Job Overview
- Expert of the company vision, mission, and core values
- Bring a positive attitude every day
- Work collaboratively with others within the store to achieve working relationships
- Establish high standards and takes personal responsibility for the quality, accuracy and timeliness of work
- Create and maintain a great customer experience for both external and internal
- Ensure food safety and quality control of all products at all times
- Support the manager with inventory, waste control/management
- Ensure health and safety standards are executed
- Organize special promotions, displays and events
Street Credentials
- Must have valid work authorization in Canada
- Must be available to work varied shifts, including weekend and evenings
- 1+ years of Leadership experience in a Bakery Department or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work well with others in a high-pressure environment
- Physical Requirements are required as a Leader in Fresh St. Market

This position has a per hour premium in addition to the hourly wage.
