Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Case Filing Officer to join our office. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, organizing, and maintaining client files This role requires strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple files while meeting strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and maintain client case files in accordance with office procedures.
- Review documents to ensure applications are complete and properly organized before submission.
- Prepare and file immigration applications under the guidance of the immigration team.
- Assist in preparing applications for Visitor Visas, Study Permits, Work Permits, Spousal Open Work Permits, Visitor Record Extensions, and Permanent Residence programs.
- Upload documents and submit applications through IRCC online portals, including GCKey, Permanent Residence Portal, and Employer Portal.
- Track application deadlines, submission timelines, biometric requests, and follow-up requirements.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure data integrity within the office database.
- Scan, organize, label, and file documents according to client ID and case number.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding document requests and application updates.
- Provide administrative support to immigration consultants and other office staff.
- Keep up to date with IRCC policies, immigration programs, and procedural changes.
- Perform general office duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in immigration case processing, document preparation, administrative support, or a similar office role.
Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
