CONCRETE FINISHER

Joneljim Concrete Construction is a Cape Breton-based construction company with a strong presence across residential, commercial, and industrial projects in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our growing team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Finishing and texturing concrete surfaces including floors, sidewalks, foundations, and flatwork
- Operating screeds, floats, trowels, and other finishing equipment
- Reading and following project plans and specifications
- Setting forms and grades as required
- Working safely and efficiently alongside crew members and other trades
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order
- Adhering to all health, safety, and WCB requirements on site
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with both hand and power tools including power trowels
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Valid driver's licence an asset
- Experience with decorative or stamped concrete an asset
