Are you ready to bring your excavation skills to the front lines of the booming renewable energy sector? Geothermal Solutions is looking for a skilled and dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As Ontario’s leading Geothermal Loop contractor, our industry is expanding rapidly, and we are looking for driven individuals who want to build a long-term career, master a specialized green trade, and grow alongside us.
This is an incredible, full-time opportunity offering a competitive wage of $28 - $36 per hour (depending on experience) and full benefits. We respect your time, which is why your travel time to and from the site is fully paid. We provide the stable work and a supportive environment; you bring the strong work ethic, excavation expertise, and the grit to tackle Ontario's diverse outdoor elements.
The Role: Precision and Power on the Front Lines
In this role, you aren’t just moving dirt—you are an essential part of the heartbeat of the job site. Working closely with our drilling crews and field technicians, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently utilizing excavation equipment to dig in state-of-the-art Geothermal Loop systems for both residential and commercial projects across Ontario.
While experience in installing geothermal piping is not necessary, a strong background in excavation is an absolute must. You will use your machine coordination to dig and prepare trenches, assist with site logistics, and maintain excellent safety standards. When the job is done, you will ensure the site is properly graded and restored, working collaboratively with the team to ensure our projects are completed to the highest standards.
What You Bring to the Team
We are looking for hardworking team players who can work independently on their machine while remaining an effective part of a larger crew. You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in excavation and heavy equipment operation. A valid G driver’s license is required.
Most importantly, you must be willing to sustain working outdoors in all weather conditions, bring excellent communication skills, a great attitude, and an absolute commitment to workplace health and safety compliance.
