Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Food Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering food orders efficiently and safely to customers, ensuring a positive experience. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport food orders to customers in a timely manner
- Verify orders for accuracy before delivery
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any issues that may arise
- Handle heavy or bulky items, including moving and lifting food packages and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory or supplies when not on delivery routes
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is preferred
- Familiarity with forklift operation and moving equipment is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience handling heavy lifting and moving items safely
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Previous experience in food delivery or related roles is advantageous but not mandatory
Pay: $16.17-$29.29 per hour
