What Your Days Will Look Like
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Support and mentor nursing and care staff in clinical practices
- Support regulatory compliance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate care plans, ensuring they reflect residents’ changing needs
- Assist staff with education, orientation, and ongoing training
- Participate in admissions, discharges, and care conferences
- Act as a resource for clinical decision-making and problem solving
- Promote infection prevention and control practices
- Investigate and follow up on incidents, concerns and clinical risks
What You Bring
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and is good standing with BCCNM
- 5+ years nursing experience in a long-term Care settings
- 3+ years leadership experience in healthcare settings
- Valid First Aide Certification
- Strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills
- Successful Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector)
- Understanding of care planning, assessments, and regulatory standards
- Ability to mentor, coach, and support staff
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to person-centered care and continuous improvement
