Levitt-Safety is looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to grow our presence in the mining & industrial sector.
This role is ideal for a business development professional who thrives in complex, relationship-driven sales environments and is excited to learn and operate within heavy industrial settings.
You’ll work closely with mines, OEMs, and heavy equipment dealers - positioning Levitt-Safety as a trusted partner in protecting people, equipment, and operations.
What You Bring:
Proven success in business development or sales within industrial, technical, or service-based environments
- Experience managing long, complex sales cycles and building strategic partnerships
- Strong “hunter” mindset with the ability to open doors and grow new accounts
- Mechanical/technical aptitude and ability to understand operational environments
- Experience working with stakeholders such as maintenance, engineering, or safety teams
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Willingness to travel extensively to remote sites
Nice to Have:
- Experience in mining, heavy equipment, industrial services, or safety solutions
- Exposure to remote or high-compliance work environments
- Bilingual (French/English) for Eastern Canada
Work Environment & Travel
This role involves frequent travel to remote mining sites across Canada, including both surface and underground operations. You’ll be expected to:
- Meet all site safety requirements (including certifications and testing)
- Work in challenging environments and weather conditions
- Follow strict safety protocols and use appropriate PPE
- Conduct site visits, equipment assessments, and audits
You don’t need prior mining experience to succeed in this role - but you do need to be comfortable working in and learning the realities of heavy industrial environments, including remote sites and strict safety protocols.
Safety is at the core of everything we do - you’ll lead by example as a trusted safety ambassador.
