Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Duties
- Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Perform account reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms to maintain precise financial records.
- Develop and monitor budgets, providing insights for financial planning and decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, audit requirements, and internal controls.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed account analysis.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred but not required.
Pay: $65,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
