Hair Stylist – Chair Rental or Commission Position
We are seeking a motivated, professional, and client-focused Hair Stylist to join our salon team. This opportunity is ideal for an independent stylist looking to grow their clientele in a welcoming and supportive salon environment.
Position Options:
- Chair Rental: Rent a fully equipped salon chair and operate as your own business within our space.
- Commission-Based: Work on a commission structure based on services performed, with access to salon clientele and support (details to be discussed based on experience and agreement).
Responsibilities:
- Provide a full range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments
- Build and maintain a loyal client base
- Deliver excellent customer service and professional consultations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work station in accordance with health regulations
- Manage bookings, scheduling, and client communication (depending on rental/commission agreement)
- Stay current with hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge
Requirements:
- Licensed Hairstylist (as required by Ontario regulations)
- Previous salon experience preferred, but motivated new stylists may be considered
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Professional, reliable, and client-focused attitude
