1st Cook – Pizza Maker
Carson's Pizzeria is looking for an experienced 1st Cook with pizza-making experience to join our growing team.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who can step into a fast-paced kitchen, work independently, maintain high food quality, and take pride in every pizza that leaves the oven.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and stretch pizza dough by hand.
- Build pizzas to Carson's quality standards.
- Operate deck ovens efficiently during busy service.
- Prepare wings, appetizers, salads and other menu items.
- Maintain a clean, organized and food-safe work station.
- Assist with inventory, prep work and stock rotation.
- Work closely with the front counter team to ensure accurate and timely orders.
- Help maintain consistency and quality on every order.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience as a 1st Cook or equivalent kitchen position.
- Previous commercial pizza-making experience is required.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy rushes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work evenings and weekends.
- Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
