Position Overview
Mad Engine Global is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Domestic Production Supervisor to support our production team in managing end-to-end domestic production processes. This role will play a key part in ensuring timely execution of production orders, maintaining quality standards, and supporting high-volume programs across mass-market retail and licensed apparel.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong follow-up skills, and is comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Production Coordination

Support the day-to-day management of domestic production orders from order enquiry through final delivery.

Track production timelines to ensure on-time delivery including all components required for a timely completion.

Maintain and update WIP (Work in Progress) reports and production trackers.

Coordinate sample flow, approvals (proto, SMS, TOP), and production milestones.

Keeping costs low and finding cost saving opportunities in the day to day functions.
Vendor & Factory Communication

Communicate daily with domestic vendors and factories to monitor order status and resolve issues.

Assist in managing relationships with local manufacturers to ensure quality, compliance, and on-time performance.

Follow up on purchase orders, production updates, and shipping schedules.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Licensing teams separations teams to trouble shoot art issues. Good understanding on screen printing and separations is required in this role.

Support Sales and Planning teams by providing production updates and delivery visibility.

Coordinate with Compliance teams to ensure all production meets company and retailer’s standards.
Data & Reporting

Maintain accurate production data in internal systems (ERP/WIP trackers).

Generate reports on production status, delivery timelines, and vendor performance.

Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce delays.
Qualifications

3–6 years of experience in production management or sourcing (apparel industry is a must).

Experience working with domestic production and local vendors in Canada is an asset.

Strong understanding of production calendars, garment construction, and manufacturing processes.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication and follow-up skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Ability to visit printing partners for inspection, production planning is required.
