Rogue Custom Coatings is looking for a skilled industrial painter for our new tank coating division.
We are a fast paced growing company, and are looking to add another great member to our team. This is a full time position, with the opportunity for overtime and advancement.
The primary job description consists of applying advanced paint systems inside of tanks and vessels, using airless spray systems. This includes properly cleaning and preparing the tanks prior to coating, as well as quality control of the finished product. Preference will be given to candidates with prior industrial spraying experience.
Job Duties:
- Assisting with cleaning and prepping the tanks prior to coating
- Applying various coatings to the correct mil thickness
- Following application guidelines and manufacturer's data sheets for different paint types
- Ensuring high quality work throughout the process
- Following all safety guidelines
This is a physical job requiring bending, lifting, and repetitive movements. Applicants must be self motivated, with good trouble shooting skills and a decent mechanical knowledge. Compensation is based on previous experience and qualifications. Shop experience and prior painting experience is a must. Worker must have a reliable means of transportation, and able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
