NS Modular is growing, and we're on the lookout for a passionate, detail-driven Equipment Operator - Telehandler, whose primary responsibility includes supporting safe and efficient material handling within an active construction yard, helping ensure projects run smoothly and safely. What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely operate telehandlers with capacities up to and including 14,000lbs to move construction materials
- Receive and stage delivered construction materials on the site
- Move materials around the site safely and efficiently
- Work with spotters to guide material movement
- Inspect materials for potential hazards
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties
- Handle materials such as rebar, scaffolding, interlocking building materials, and masonry
What You Bring to the Table
- At least one (1) year work experience in a construction environment
- Previous experience operating a telehandler
- CSTS certification
- Strong ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Commitment to working safely and following safety protocol
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ability to use judgement and apply discretion when making decisions
- Possess a positive and professional attitude, set a high standard, and convey professionalism at all times
- Any valid safety-related training certificates would be considered an asset (i.e., WHMIS, forklift, fall protection, etc.)
