On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel are recruiting Production Workers for a manufacturer in KITCHENER for an open vacancy.
Are you someone who enjoys staying active throughout your shift and takes pride in keeping production running efficiently? We are currently seeking dependable, safety-conscious candidates to join a busy printing department as an Aerator/Production Worker.
This is a FULL-TIME opportunity with long-term potential and excellent company benefits.
Continental 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Days & Nights)
- Work 7:00am – 7:00pm for two weeks following a continental rotation (2 days on, 2-3 days off)
- After two weeks, the schedule rotates to 7:00pm – 7:00am
- Important: This schedule includes weekends and some statutory holidays
- A full annual shift calendar is provided in advance so you can plan ahead
Pay Rate: $19.75/hr + 4% vacation pay added to each cheque weekly!

Responsibilities:
- Operate an electric power walkie throughout the shift to move paper stock and finished product
- Supply the printing presses by ensuring materials are staged and ready according to the production schedule
- Read and follow production schedules with accuracy and attention to detail
- Operate the aerator safely while following all required PPE procedures
- Maintain an organized work area and keep product flowing efficiently throughout the department
- Assist production operators and other departments as required
- Follow all health & safety policies, GMPs, and company procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to work a rotating continental day/night schedule with excellent attendance
- Comfortable walking throughout the entire shift (20,000-30,000 steps per day)
- Physically capable of standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout 12-hour shifts
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work independently
- Able to read production schedules and accurately identify products
- Comfortable working in a loud manufacturing environment while wearing double hearing protection (ear plugs and ear muffs)
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is considered an asset
- Colour vision test required for successful candidates
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Due to food industry requirements: No fake nails, nail polish, fake eyelashes, jewelry, or non-removable piercings
- CSA-approved safety footwear required
