Job Summary
We are seeking a experienced and skilled Concrete Foreman to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with concrete-related tasks on various construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, be capable of reading blueprints and schematics, and possess experience in concrete work and construction management software.
Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete surfaces on construction sites
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment related to concrete work
- Follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution
- Be able to form sidewalks, curbs and gutters
- Maintain safety protocols and ensure a clean work environment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Assist in quality control checks throughout the construction process
- Support budgeting efforts by tracking materials used and labor hours
Experience
- Minimum 10 years in the Concrete Flatwork Industry
- Supervising experience in a construction setting
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating
- Experience with quality control procedures and maintaining safety standards on-site
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Prior experience in budgeting for small to medium-sized projects is advantageous
