Baja Terra Construction Ltd. is looking for an experienced and reliable Concrete Finisher to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial, municipal, and residential concrete construction throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate will have experience placing, finishing, and repairing concrete, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Place, level, and finish concrete surfaces.
- Finish sidewalks, curb and gutter, driveways, garage pads, slabs, stairs, and other concrete structures.
- Operate hand and power finishing tools.
- Assist with formwork, rebar placement, and concrete placement as required.
- Read grades and follow project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work effectively with supervisors, foremen, and crew members.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of concrete finishing experience preferred.
- Experience with commercial, municipal, or residential concrete projects.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- CSTS 2020 certification is considered an asset.
What We Offer
- Starting wage: $32.00 per hour
- Higher wages may be offered based on experience, qualifications, leadership ability, and overall skill level.
