Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting food preparation, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, food service, and hospitality, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Support kitchen staff with food handling and service duties to ensure timely meal delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed during food handling and cleaning processes
- Help with restocking supplies and organizing storage areas for efficiency
- Support hospitality staff during busy service times by assisting with various kitchen-related tasks
Requirements
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not required
- Must be able to work late hours, especially on weekends, so personal transportation would be beneficial
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food safety standards is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $17.20-$24.11 per hour
