Join our dynamic team as a Resident Care Aide, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will provide compassionate support and assistance to individuals in an assisted living facility. What you’ll do
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Provide personalized care tailored to the unique needs of each resident.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor vital signs to ensure residents' health and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in living spaces, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Support residents with meal preparation and dietary needs while accommodating any special requests or restrictions.
Basic qualifications
- Experience in senior care or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Registered Care Aide.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities or in group home environments.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and social work principles.
