Job Overview
Newleaf Equipment Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Controls Technician – Electrical & Electronics to join our team in Abbotsford, BC. This is an on-site position requiring hands-on technical expertise in testing, maintaining, and servicing electrical and electronic equipment.
Requirements
- Language: English
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate/diploma program (1–2 years)
- Experience: 2 to less than 3 years
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and service equipment
- Test power equipment and electrical systems
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of equipment
- Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments
- Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications
- Collect and compile operational or experimental data
- Set up and operate specialized and standard testing equipment
- Diagnose, test, and analyze electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
- Complete work orders, test reports, and maintenance documentation
- Conduct life tests (burn-ins) on components and assemblies
