Greenfield’s management team is growing! We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic new team member to assist in leading our Greenfields Family to greatness.
This position will be responsible for managing all staff while on duty, to ensure a seamless and efficient service.
This position will assist with the training and leadership necessary to achieve our stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and menus.
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
- Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
- Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
- Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
- Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of development.
- Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures.
- Oversee and ensure that restaurant policies on employee performance are followed.
- Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
- Fully understand and comply with provincial, federal and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labour requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
Qualifications
- Have excellent knowledge of food and beverage, including craft beer, culinary trends, top shelf liquor, scotch, and other whiskies.
- Have a commitment to legendary service.
- Have a knowledge of basic training techniques.
- Possess an awareness of local health and sanitation laws.
- Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Comfortable problem solving.
- Be flexible and available to work any day of the week, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Behaves professionally and can be flexible in a changing environment.
- Possess excellent attendance with schedule flexibility that is determined by business needs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
